Program Goals

Goal 1:

Improve workforce distribution in Rural and urban medically underserved areas (RUMUA) across Tennessee.


Goal 2:

Increase the number of trained behavioral health practitioners through an integrative health educational approach to improve the mental health status of vulnerable populations through access and availability of mental health services


Goal 3:

Develop and maintain a behavioral health care workforce that is prepared to deliver high-quality behavioral health care in a practice transforming health care delivery system with an emphasis on RUMUAs.
